Groundhog Day 2017: Punxsutawney Phil Predicts Six More Weeks of Winter

The world's most celebrated groundhog day 2017 has come and the groundhog phil rose up out of his tunnel and supposedly observed his shadow at the beginning of today, demonstrating that we're in for six more weeks of winter.

The insightful critter says something regarding the destiny of the country's climate every year on Feb. 2 at Gobbler's Handle, a slope outside of Punxsutawney, Dad., around 65 miles upper east of Pittsburgh.
